A NEW MONTH, A FRESH YES

"Here am I! Send me." — Isaiah 6:8

Message

A new month is more than the turning of a calendar page. It is another opportunity to surrender ourselves afresh to God and ask, "Lord, what do You want to do through me?"

When Isaiah encountered the holiness of God, he became aware of his own condition. But God did not leave him there. After cleansing came a call, and after the call came Isaiah's response: "Here am I! Send me."

God is still looking for people who will respond to His call.

Perhaps you have been waiting for a dramatic sign before taking the next step. Yet sometimes God's invitation is already in front of you. There is someone to encourage, someone to pray for, a responsibility to embrace, or an opportunity to make Christ known.

Do not enter this new month merely asking God to bless your plans. Ask Him to make your life available for His plans.

Your greatest impact may begin with three simple words:

"Lord, send me."

Prayer

Father, I surrender this new month to You. Here I am—use me for Your purposes. Give me ears to hear Your voice, courage to obey Your instructions, and a heart that is willing to go wherever You send me. In Jesus' name, Amen.
