A VOICE IN THE GAP

Scripture

"So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land..." — Ezekiel 22:30

Message

There are moments when God looks for someone willing to stand in the gap. Intercession is more than mentioning someone's name in prayer; it is carrying a burden before God and refusing to remain silent when others are in need.

The intercessor sees what others may overlook. While people complain about the darkness, the intercessor enters the secret place and cries out for light. While others see hopelessness, the intercessor believes that God can still intervene.

Your prayers may be touching situations you cannot see. A family can be restored. A generation can turn back to God. A nation can experience mercy. A church can be awakened. Never underestimate what God can accomplish through a believer who consistently stands in the gap.

God is still looking for voices that will pray. Will you answer the call? Rise above distraction. Carry the burden. Stand in the gap.

Prayer

Lord, make me a faithful intercessor. Give me sensitivity to the burdens You want me to carry and perseverance to pray until Your purposes are established. Teach me to pray according to Your will and to stand in the gap for families, churches, communities, and nations. May my prayer life become a vessel through which Your mercy and power are released.
