Scripture:
Joshua 3:5 — “Sanctify yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do wonders among you.”
Message:
Before Israel crossed the Jordan or took Jericho, they had to consecrate themselves. In God’s order, preparation always precedes possession. You cannot carry the glory of God on an unconsecrated life. You may move in activity, but not authority.
Consecration means separation unto God. It is the process of making room in your heart, your schedule, and your desires for Him alone. It requires letting go of distractions, hidden sins, and even good things that hinder full surrender.
Many want God to move mightily, but few prepare the altar. The wonders of tomorrow are determined by the consecration of today. If you want to carry His presence, lead His people, or shift your environment—begin with your own heart. God will not fill what He cannot sanctify.
Golden Nugget:
God will do wonders—after you prepare the altar.
Further Study:
2 Timothy 2:20–21, Exodus 19:10–11, Psalm 24:3–4
Prayer:
Search me, O God, and sanctify me. I set myself apart for Your purpose. Remove every mixture, every distraction, and make me a vessel ready for Your glory.
Activation Challenge:
Set aside a day for consecration this week—fast, repent, worship, and invite the Holy Spirit to cleanse you afresh. Write down anything He asks you to surrender—and obey fully.
