DON'T STOP AT THE MIRACLE

"But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves." — James 1:22

Message

God's blessings are not meant to make us comfortable spectators. Every encounter with God should move us toward greater obedience.

It is easy to celebrate what God has done while ignoring what He is asking us to do next. We can receive a word, experience a breakthrough, hear a powerful sermon, or witness God's intervention—and still fail to obey.

The purpose of revelation is transformation. When God speaks, our response should be obedience. When He corrects us, we should change. When He calls us, we should go.

Do not stop at the miracle. Follow the Miracle Worker. Do not stop at the blessing. Pursue the One who blesses. Let every encounter with God produce a corresponding response of obedience.

A genuine encounter with God is measured not only by what we receive but by how we respond.

Prayer

Lord, help me to respond to Your Word with obedience. Do not allow me to become satisfied with hearing, receiving, or experiencing without changing. Give me courage to obey even when obedience is difficult. Let everything You reveal to me produce transformation in my life and advance Your purposes through me. In Jesus' mighty name, Amen.
