“Call to Me and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.” — Jeremiah 33:3
Message
Sometimes life feels silent. We pray, yet the heavens seem closed. We call, yet no answer comes. It is in these moments that we must remember: God still listens. His silence is not absence—it is preparation, refinement, and a call to persistent faith.
God listens because He is relational. Prayer is not a transaction; it is communion. He wants your heart, not just your words. Even when answers are delayed, He is attentive to every sigh, every groan, and every whispered hope. Romans 8:26 reminds us that the Spirit intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words.
God listens even when circumstances seem overwhelming. Elijah prayed under a juniper tree, exhausted and discouraged. God responded—not with immediate relief, but with gentle sustenance and instruction (1 Kings 19:5–12). Often, His listening precedes transformation, not just resolution.
He listens without favoritism and without distraction. James 1:5 tells us that if we lack wisdom, we can ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach. Your prayers matter. They reach the throne. They are recorded. They are powerful.
The assurance that God still listens should influence how you live:
Persist in prayer, even when tired
Speak boldly, even when doubtful
Trust, even when unseen
Praise, even in silence
The God who spoke worlds into existence still bends His ear to hear your voice. Your faith is the key that unlocks the answers that His listening produces.
Golden Nugget
God may not answer on your schedule—but He never stops hearing your heart.

Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for listening to me even when I feel unheard. Teach me to trust Your timing and Your ways. Help me to pray with persistence, boldness, and faith, knowing that every word reaches Your throne. Open my ears to hear Your voice and my heart to receive Your guidance. May my life reflect confidence in Your attentive love.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
