LORD, REVIVE US AGAIN

"Will You not revive us again, that Your people may rejoice in You?" — Psalm 85:6

Message

Revival begins long before it is seen in churches, cities, or nations—it begins in the hearts of God's people. Throughout Scripture, whenever God brought revival, He first stirred His people to return to Him with sincere repentance, renewed hunger for His presence, and wholehearted obedience.

It is possible to remain active in ministry while gradually losing intimacy with the Lord. We may become familiar with spiritual routines yet neglect the passion that once burned within us. But God, in His mercy, continually calls His children back to Himself. His desire is not merely for religious activity but for hearts that love Him above all else.

A revived believer is marked by a deep love for God's Word, a consistent prayer life, a passion for holiness, and compassion for the lost. Revival is not an emotional experience that fades after a meeting—it is the ongoing work of the Holy Spirit restoring our first love and transforming us into the likeness of Christ.

Today, ask the Lord to search your heart. Allow Him to remove every distraction, every compromise, and every spiritual complacency. Invite the Holy Spirit to rekindle the fire of His presence within you. As God revives individual hearts, families are transformed, churches are strengthened, and nations begin to experience His power.

May your prayer not simply be, "Lord, bless me," but "Lord, revive me."

Heavenly Father, I surrender my heart completely to You. Search me and reveal anything that hinders my fellowship with You. Let revival begin in me so that my life may bring glory to Your name and become a testimony that draws others to Christ. Revive Your Church and awaken our generation for Your Kingdom.
