MAKE ROOM FOR GOD

Scripture

"Draw near to God and He will draw near to you." — James 4:8

Message

God desires fellowship with us, but intimacy requires intentionality. In a noisy world filled with responsibilities, notifications, conversations, and distractions, we must deliberately create room to hear God's voice.

Prayer is not simply presenting a list of requests to God. It is coming into His presence, surrendering our hearts, listening to His voice, and allowing Him to shape our desires according to His will.

Many people want God's direction but do not make time to seek Him. They want His power but neglect His presence. Yet the secret place is where our character is formed, our faith is strengthened, and our spiritual ears become sensitive.

Make room for God today. Put aside the distractions. Open His Word. Pray. Listen. Worship. The presence of God is not a place you occasionally visit—it is where your life must learn to dwell.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, draw me closer to You. Help me to silence every distraction and cultivate a deeper life of prayer, worship, and fellowship with You. Teach me to value Your presence above everything else. May my heart become a dwelling place where You are welcomed and Your purposes are established.
