Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem

"Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: 'May those who love you be secure.'" — Psalm 122:6 (NIV)

In a world filled with turmoil, Jerusalem remains at the heart of God’s redemptive plan. As believers, we are called to intercede for this holy city—not only for its physical safety but for the fulfillment of God’s divine purposes.

The psalmist’s plea is both an invitation and a command. When we pray for Jerusalem, we align our hearts with God’s heart, asking that His will be done in Israel and throughout the earth. We pray for wisdom for leaders, protection for the innocent, and clarity amid confusion. We ask God to shake every system—political, religious, and spiritual—until His purposes prevail.

Today, let us lift our voices in faith-filled prayer:

  • For Peace – That God’s shalom—wholeness, justice, and reconciliation—will reign in Jerusalem.

  • For Clarity – That deception will be exposed and God’s truth will guide decisions.

  • For God’s Will – That every plan contrary to His Kingdom will be overturned.

  • As we pray, we declare with confidence: The Lord Almighty has purposed, and who can thwart Him? (Isaiah 14:27). May our prayers rise as incense before His throne, moving His hand to bring restoration and hope.

Pray with me:

Heavenly Father, we intercede for Jerusalem, asking for Your peace to guard this city and its people. Let Your purposes prevail in Israel and across the nations. Expose every hidden agenda, shake what must be shaken, and establish what is righteous. Give leaders divine wisdom, protect the vulnerable, and draw hearts to You. We trust in Your sovereign plan and pray with expectancy. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Textured Paper

Let us rejoice and shout for joy! Let us give Him glory and honor, for the marriage of the Lamb has come [at last]

and HIS BRIDE (the redeemed) HAS PREPARED HERSELF.”

She has been permitted to dress in fine linen, dazzling white and clean—for the fine linen signifies the righteous acts of the saints [the ethical conduct, personal integrity, moral courage, and godly character of believers].

Then the angel said to me,

“Write, ‘Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb.’”And he said to me [further],

“These are the true

and exact words of God.”
