REVIVAL BEGINS WITH REPENTANCE

Scripture

"Now, therefore," says the Lord, "Turn to Me with all your heart, with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning." — Joel 2:12

Message

We often pray for revival, but genuine revival begins with hearts turning back to God. Before asking God to change our surroundings, we must allow Him to search our hearts.

Repentance is not merely feeling sorry for what we have done. It is turning away from sin and turning toward God. It is allowing the Holy Spirit to expose what has become normal but does not honor Christ.

When God's people humble themselves, confess their sins, and seek Him sincerely, spiritual renewal begins. Repentance clears the ground for deeper fellowship with God.

The alarm has sounded. Let it first awaken us. Let us return to prayer, holiness, obedience, and wholehearted devotion. A revived Church begins with surrendered hearts.

Prayer

Father, search my heart and reveal everything that does not please You. Give me genuine repentance and a deeper hatred for sin. Wash me, restore me, and renew my hunger for holiness. Begin Your work of revival in me and let that transformation overflow into my family, church, community, and nation.
