Scripture:
“Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit; and there are varieties of service, but the same Lord. And there are varieties of activities, but it is the same God who empowers them all in everyone.” — 1 Corinthians 12:4–6 (ESV)
Message:
The indwelling Spirit is not only the source of comfort and guidance but also the wellspring of power for ministry. Every believer is uniquely gifted by the Spirit to fulfill a specific role in the body of Christ. These gifts are not given for personal glory or advancement but to build up the church and advance God’s Kingdom on earth.
Spiritual gifts reflect God’s heart for unity and diversity—a perfectly designed system where every part matters. Without the Spirit’s empowerment, ministry becomes mere activity; with His power, it becomes life-changing impact.
Many believers struggle to discover or operate in their gifts because they underestimate the Spirit’s role. Gifts do not come by natural talent or human effort but by yielding fully to the Spirit’s work within. When you submit to His leading, He reveals your giftings and equips you to serve effectively.
In the current age, where many feel powerless or ineffective, the call is to return to the Spirit as the source. He equips, empowers, and energizes us beyond our natural limitations to fulfill God’s purposes.
Golden Nugget:
Your spiritual gifts are God’s gifts—activated and empowered only by the Holy Spirit for Kingdom purposes.
