THE FIRE MUST KEEP BURNING

Scripture
"A fire shall always be burning on the altar; it shall never go out." — Leviticus 6:13
Message
God desires a fire that continues burning—not a momentary flame that disappears when circumstances change. The altar represents a place of surrender, worship, sacrifice, and communion with God.
There are moments when we experience powerful encounters with God, but spiritual maturity requires us to maintain the fire after the moment has passed.
Prayer must become more than an occasional activity. Worship must become more than a song. Surrender must become more than an emotional response.
A generation cannot be awakened by believers whose own spiritual fire has gone out.
Guard your personal altar. Make room for God's Word. Return to prayer. Worship Him when nobody is watching. Repent quickly when you stumble. Keep your heart sensitive to the Holy Spirit.
The fire God ignites in you is not meant to remain hidden. It is meant to illuminate your family, your community, your workplace, and ultimately the nations.
Golden Nugget
A sustained fire in the secret place produces a visible light in the public place.

Prayer
Father, rekindle every place where my spiritual fire has grown weak. Give me discipline to remain at the altar of prayer, worship, and Your Word. Let the fire You place within me burn continually and become a light to those around me.
In Jesus' name, Amen.
