“Do you not know that you are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in you?” – 1 Corinthians 3:16 (ESV)
Message
The greatest mystery of the New Covenant is not merely that God visits us, but that He chooses to dwell in us. In the Old Testament, His glory filled the tabernacle and later the temple, but the people could only approach from a distance. Now, because of the blood of Jesus, that veil has been torn, and God’s dwelling place is no longer in buildings made by human hands — it is inside you.
This changes everything. The One who spoke galaxies into being now lives within your mortal body. The Spirit is not an occasional guest who visits during a worship service; He is the eternal resident of your life, shaping your thoughts, purifying your motives, and empowering your actions.
But here’s the sober truth — many believers live as though the Spirit is absent. We consult Him rarely, silence
His promptings, and fill our lives with noise that drowns out His whisper. The result is a powerless Christianity, one that knows the doctrine but lacks the fire.
The early Church turned the world upside down not because they had better strategies, but because they had the Spirit in fullness. They walked with an awareness that “God is in me, God is speaking, God is working through me.”
Today, the Church desperately needs this awareness restored. Our cities are full of brokenness, corruption, and rebellion against God, yet the solution is not in more human effort but in Spirit-filled believers who carry God’s presence everywhere they go.
The Indwelling Spirit is not just a comforter for your personal problems — He is God’s power to fulfill His purposes through you. He is heaven’s connection point in the earth. And when we surrender fully to Him, we become walking revival — God’s presence moving in flesh and blood.
Golden Nugget
You are not an empty vessel waiting to be filled — you are a temple already occupied by the living God. Walk as one who carries His presence.

Lord, awaken me to the reality of Your presence within me. Forgive me for ignoring Your voice and for living as if You are far away. Fill me afresh with Your power, sensitivity, and holiness, that I may be a true carrier of Your glory in this generation.
