THE POWER OF A PERSISTENT CHURCH

Scripture

"These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication..." — Acts 1:14

Message

Before the Church moved with power in Acts, the disciples spent time waiting and praying together. They did not rush ahead of God's instruction. They gathered, sought Him, and remained united.

Persistence in prayer reveals the seriousness of our faith. It says, "God, we trust You enough to keep asking. We believe You enough to keep waiting. We value Your will enough to keep seeking."

The Church today needs more than occasional prayer meetings. We need believers who understand the power of persistent, united prayer. Prayer must become a lifestyle, not merely an event on a calendar.

When the Church prays, heaven's purposes are pursued on earth. Do not stop praying because you have not yet seen the answer. Keep standing. Keep believing. Keep seeking God.

Prayer

Father, make me persistent in prayer. Teach me not to give up when answers seem delayed. Raise within me a deeper hunger for Your presence and a greater burden for Your Kingdom. Unite Your Church in persistent prayer until revival, salvation, and transformation break forth among the nations.
