Scripture
"And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them?" — Luke 18:7
Message
Some prayers are answered quickly. Others require us to wait. The waiting season can test our faith, but it can also deepen our dependence on God.
Jesus told the parable of the persistent widow to teach His disciples that they should always pray and never lose heart.
Perhaps you have been praying for a loved one's salvation. Maybe you have been asking God for revival, healing, restoration, or breakthrough. You may have prayed so long that discouragement has begun to whisper, "Nothing will change."
Do not listen to that voice.
Faith does not mean pretending that the situation is easy. Faith means continuing to trust God even when the answer has not yet appeared.
Keep knocking.
Keep seeking.
Keep standing.
Your persistence does not manipulate God; it demonstrates that you trust Him enough to keep coming back.
Golden Nugget
Persistent prayer keeps faith alive while we wait for God's appointed answer.

Prayer
Father, strengthen my faith when I am tempted to give up. Teach me to wait upon You without losing hope. Help me remain faithful in prayer and trust Your wisdom, timing, and perfect will.
In Jesus' name, Amen.
