Scripture
"But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet to warn the people, and the sword comes and takes someone's life, that person's life is taken because of their sin, but I will hold the watchman accountable for their blood." — Ezekiel 33:6
Message
A watchman carries a serious responsibility. Their role is not to remain silent, but to stay alert, recognize danger, and sound the alarm when necessary. The safety of others depends on their faithfulness.
In the same way, God has called His people to be spiritual watchmen in this generation. We are called to pray, discern the times, and stand in the gap for our families, communities, and nations.
Being a watchman does not mean living in fear; it means living with spiritual awareness. It means understanding that our prayers have power, our obedience has influence, and our faithfulness can impact generations.
Many people are searching for hope, direction, and truth. God has entrusted His Church with the message of reconciliation through Jesus Christ. We cannot keep silent when the world needs to hear the Good News.
A watchman does not sound the alarm because they hate the people; they sound it because they love them. May God give us hearts that are burdened for souls and courageous enough to stand for truth.
Today, ask yourself: Am I faithfully watching, praying, and proclaiming what God has entrusted to me?

Prayer
Lord, make me a faithful watchman in this generation. Give me spiritual eyes to recognize what You are doing and a compassionate heart to pray for others. Remove fear and give me courage to stand for Your truth and proclaim Christ faithfully. Use my life to bring many closer to You.
In Jesus' name, Amen.
