WHEN ZION TRAVAILES, SOMETHING IS BORN

"For as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children." — Isaiah 66:8

Message

There are things God desires to birth in the earth that require the cooperation of praying people. Scripture gives us a powerful picture of Zion travailing and bringing forth.

Travailing prayer is prayer that refuses to remain casual. It carries a burden until that burden is brought before God again and again. It cries out for salvation, revival, restoration, and the fulfillment of God's purposes.

We live in a generation that often wants instant results. But spiritual transformation can require perseverance.

Perhaps you have been praying for a loved one for years. Perhaps you have been interceding for revival in your church or nation. Do not conclude that nothing is happening simply because you cannot see it.

Keep standing.

Keep believing.

Keep praying.

God can use the prayers of His people to prepare the way for what He intends to do.

Golden Nugget

Never abandon a God-given burden simply because the answer has not yet appeared.

Prayer

Father, strengthen me to persevere in intercession. When I become tired or discouraged, remind me that You hear every prayer. Help me stand faithfully until Your purposes are fulfilled. Let revival, salvation, and transformation be birthed through the prayers of Your people.
