Scripture:
To one he gave five bags of gold, to another two bags, and to another one bag, each according to his ability. Then he went on his journey.” – Matthew 25:15
Message
God has entrusted every believer with unique talents—spiritual gifts, natural abilities, skills, and opportunities. No one is empty-handed in the Kingdom. Some are called to preach, others to sing, some to intercede, some to build, some to give, and others to lead. Each gift is intentional, designed to contribute to the Body of Christ and advance God’s purposes on earth.
The danger many fall into is comparison. The servant with one talent felt insignificant compared to the others and buried what he had. But God does not judge you based on what He gave someone else—He looks at how faithful you are with what He placed in your hands. Faithfulness is not measured by the size of the gift but by the diligence in using it.
Your talent is not for decoration—it is for multiplication. When you fail to use your gift, the Kingdom suffers loss, and the world misses out on the light you were meant to shine. But when you use your talent faithfully, it not only grows but also impacts lives for eternity.
Faithfulness also means offering your talent back to God in humility. It is possible to use a gift for personal glory, but stewardship requires surrender. The Master of the talents will return and ask: “What did you do with what I gave you?” On that day, excuses will not count—only faithfulness will.
Golden Nugget
God does not reward you for having gifts; He rewards you for being faithful with them.

Prayer
Lord, thank You for the talents You have entrusted to me. Deliver me from fear, comparison, and laziness that cause me to bury what You have given. Teach me to serve faithfully, humbly, and diligently with my gifts so that others may be blessed and Your Kingdom advanced. May I be found faithful when You return. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
