A Fresh Wind Blowing Across Tooro
Something powerful is stirring in the Western region of Uganda. On October 15, 2025, leaders gathered at Buhanda Rural Evangelical Church for a Go Nations Mission meeting that marked a turning point for the Church in Tooro. What began as a simple leaders’ mobilization meeting quickly turned into a spiritual awakening — a renewed call to unity, intercession, and purpose.
At the forefront of this move of God is Bishop Valentine Rwamhigo, District Overseer of NAFBAC, a man deeply aligned with the vision of World Trumpet Mission and Go Nations. His heart for transformation, unity, and mobilization became a divine catalyst for what unfolded that day.
A Call to Unity of Purpose
Under the leadership of Field Coordinator Judith Bamuturaki, 49 passionate leaders — pastors, intercessors, youth, women, and marketplace representatives — came together to catch the vision of Go Nations.

What Is Go Nations?
Go Nations is a movement of God birthed to awaken the Body of Christ to the Great Commission. It is a call to mobilize believers everywhere to take personal responsibility for God’s purpose in their generation.
The heartbeat of Go Nations is found in Matthew 28:18–20 — “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations…”
Through the leadership of Dr. John W. Mulinde and the World Trumpet Mission, Go Nations carries a prophetic mandate to:
Awaken the Church from spiritual slumber.
Equip believers to live and work from prayer altars.
Mobilize every region, tribe, and generation to fulfill God’s redemptive purposes.
Transform nations by restoring God’s kingdom order in every sphere of society — from the Church to the marketplace.
The Call to Catch the Vision
As Judith Bamuturaki shared the Go Nations message, the leaders began to see beyond their local ministries — they saw the bigger picture of God’s Kingdom. They understood that revival is not just about gatherings, but about alignment with Heaven’s purposes.
Every pastor, intercessor, youth, and marketplace leader recognized their place in the movement:
Pastors would shepherd communities into the revelation of God’s kingdom.
Intercessors would raise and sustain prayer altars in every district.
Youth would become the next generation of torchbearers.
Women would nurture the fire of transformation in families and communities.
Marketplace leaders would carry the gospel into businesses, schools, and institutions.
The room became charged with a sense of divine assignment — that Tooro was not just being visited by Go Nations, but being activated into the mission of God.
A Vision Bigger Than Any One Ministry
Go Nations is a movement that transcends denominations, regions, and church traditions. It’s not about one organization; it’s about one Kingdom. It is a divine partnership between God and His people — a call to every believer to rise up and say:
“Here am I, Lord. Send me.”
This is the heartbeat that pulsed through Buhanda Rural Evangelical Church that day — a holy awakening that the harvest is ripe, the call is urgent, and now is the time to Go Nations.
They realized something profound:
“We have unity in administration, but now we must move into unity of purpose.”
This revelation became the heartbeat of the meeting. The participants saw that true transformation will come when leaders lay aside denominational barriers and rise together in prayer, purpose, and kingdom focus.
A Vision Ignited
The meeting birthed five strategic teams, each with leaders ready to advance the Go Nations vision:
Church Leaders: Ps. Ruhweza Jonan
Intercessors: Tumuhairwe Jenifer
Youth: Turyamureeba Alex
Women: Kyomuhendo Generous
Marketplace Leaders: Ps. Rwamhigo Valentine
Together, these teams represent a new army of believers rising to transform their region through prayer altars, discipleship, and kingdom mobilization.
The Fire of Commitment
Leaders didn’t just attend — they responded. They committed to:
Mobilize intercessors in every church and district.
Raise and restore prayer altars across Tooro.
Revive border prayer altars to spiritually secure the land.
Contribute their own resources for upcoming trainings in November 2025.
Even in the face of limited manpower and financial challenges, faith burned stronger. Judith Bamuturaki shared that funds were miraculously secured for two upcoming events — a testament that God provides for His vision.
What God is Doing in Tooro
The Go Nations Mission in Tooro is a movement of awakening. It is God calling His people back to the altar, back to unity, and back to purpose. From this gathering, spiritual mapping and prayer mobilization will intensify, and the prophetic walls of Tooro will be rebuilt.
“The Church in Tooro is ready. The leaders are awakened. The sound of revival is rising again.”
Next Steps
November 2025: Training of district intercessors and mobilization of all churches.
Establishment of prayer altars at district and sub-county levels.
Revival of border prayer altars in at least five key locations.
Continuous follow-up and mentorship for Go Nations teams in the region.
