Mukono, Uganda – September 2, 2025 — The fire of revival is breaking out in Uganda. In Week 5 of the Go Nations Mission Field Survey, a passionate team led by Pr. Luswata Frank entered the Mukono subregion in Central Uganda on a mission to awaken the church, raise altars, and prepare the ground for a fresh move of God. What unfolded was more than a mission — it was the spark of a spiritual awakening.
Note: The work of Go Nations is an ongoing movement across Uganda and beyond. This report captures only the mission activities and impact from Mukono in the Central Region of Uganda during Week 5.
A Movement on a Mission
The Go Nations team, made up of eight committed missioners, stepped into Mukono carrying a message that stirred the hearts of many. Hosted in a local church, the gathering united church leaders, intercessors, youth, women, and marketplace believers from across different denominations — all hungry for a deeper encounter with God.
The mission focused on spiritual mapping, envisioning, and mobilization, revealing God’s purposes for the region and calling believers to take their place in His plan. As the message of the Go Nations vision was shared, the atmosphere shifted. Many responded with urgency and hunger, declaring, “This is what we need — please, when can you come to our church?”

Raising Altars – Awakening a People
At the heart of the mission was the restoration and raising of prayer altars — the spiritual wells that host God’s presence and authority. New altars were ignited in homes, churches, workplaces, communities, and even across subcounty and regional levels, signaling the start of a deeper work of transformation in Mukono.
This wave of prayer has become the backbone of the mission, anchoring everything God is doing. It is from these altars that revival will continue to spread — touching families, transforming churches, and influencing every sphere of society.
Partnerships and Prophetic Momentum
A significant moment of the mission was meeting Bishop Nanfuma, identified as a key man of peace and gatekeeper in the region. Though still in the envisioning phase, his commitment to the Go Nations vision promises to open greater doors for revival and transformation across Mukono.
The mission’s impact was immediate. Weekly training sessions have been scheduled to deepen the work started, Go Nations teams are forming on the ground, and preparations are already underway for Trumpet Camp 2026 — a strategic gathering expected to accelerate the movement further.
Challenges and the Road Ahead
The mission did face challenges, including financial limitations, and missioner capacity gaps. Yet, these obstacles have only fueled the resolve to go deeper. The next steps include:
Strengthening and training mission teams.
Continuing spiritual mapping and prayer mobilization.
Building on the foundation laid through consistent follow-up and engagement.
The next mission phase in Mukono is planned for December 2, 2025, as Go Nations continues to nurture the seeds sown and build momentum toward full-scale regional transformation.
This Is Revival” – The Cry of Mukono
The overwhelming testimony from the field was captured in one resounding declaration: “This is Revival.”Hearts were set ablaze, altars were raised, and the people united in one vision — to see God’s Kingdom come in their land. What began as a mission has become a movement, and Mukono is now positioned as a strategic gateway for what God is about to do in Uganda and beyond.
Go Nations continues to advance with one clear mandate: to mobilize the Body of Christ, raise prayer altars, and prepare nations for the great harvest. The fire has been lit — and this is only the beginning.
