GREATER MUKONO GO NATIONS

Updated: Jun 11

The Greater Mukono Go Nations Mission, held from 11th–13th May 2025 at Hope Worship Center in Mukono Municipality under the theme Great Commission as a fulfillment for Revival, was led by Dr. John W. Mulinde and Bishop Kabuye, and focused strongly on Dr. John W. Mulinde’s foundational teachings—working together as leaders of Mukono, the Go Nations concept, the Great Commission as a fulfillment for Revival, and the Seven Essentials—while mobilizing leaders across Greater Mukono and setting strategic plans for regional trainings, vision casting, and spiritual alignment toward a generational move of God.

Pr. Kirya Fred delivered a strategic and spiritually anchored message titled “The Importance of Prayer Altars in Bringing Lasting Revival,” positioning prayer altars as essential to the fulfillment of the Go Nations mandate. He taught that a prayer altar is not merely a physical location but a covenant point of continuous communion with God—a place where individuals, families, and leaders align with heaven’s purposes. Within the Go Nations framework, which seeks to disciple nations and awaken communities to their divine calling, these altars are the spiritual infrastructure that sustains revival beyond events or gatherings.

Drawing on biblical patterns and spiritual history, Pr. Kirya Fred emphasized that without prayer altars, revival remains momentary and superficial. But with them, regions like Greater Mukono can experience deep, lasting transformation. He urged leaders and believers alike to rebuild personal and corporate prayer altars, declaring them the womb of spiritual awakening, a source of divine strategy, and the place where God births national reformation. As Go Nations mobilizes leaders across territories, prayer altars must go ahead to prepare the ground, invite God’s rule, and keep the spiritual fire burning long after the mission is done.

Dr. John W. Mulinde Outlines the Seven Essentials for a Spirit-Led Lifestyle

Dr. John W. Mulinde, founder of World Trumpet Mission and a father to the Go Nations movement, delivered a timely message on cultivating a Spirit-led lifestyle through the consistent practice of what he termed the Seven Essentials of a Devotional Life.

Drawing from years of personal devotion, leadership, and global ministry, Dr. John W. Mulinde laid a clear framework for believers seeking to walk daily in the power and direction of the Holy Spirit.

“These essentials are not optional disciplines; they are lifelines for every disciple who desires to live in communion with God and fulfill His purposes in this urgent hour,” Dr. Mulinde emphasized.

The Seven Essentials of a Devotional Lifestyle

  1. The Word of God: The need was underscored for believers to not merely read but meditate on, study, and practice the Scriptures daily. “The Word is our foundation. Without it, we cannot stand,” was the clear message, referencing Joshua 1:8 and 2 Timothy 3:16–17.

  2. Adoration, Praise, and Worship: “Intimacy with God begins at the altar of adoration,” he said. Worship is more than music—it is a posture of the heart that draws us into God’s presence (John 4:23-24).

  3. Prayer and Intercession: The necessity of daily communion with God in prayer, and standing in the gap for others, was highlighted as a core discipline. Dr. Mulinde called on the Church to rise again as a house of prayer (Luke 18:1, Ezekiel 22:30).

  4. Prophetic Guidance and Insight: “As we wait upon the Lord, He speaks.” Believers were urged to be still before God, expecting Him to guide through the prophetic dimension of His Spirit (Isaiah 30:21; Amos 3:7).

  5. Spying the Enemy: Borrowing a term from spiritual warfare, the importance of spiritual discernment was emphasized—to identify and expose the schemes of the enemy (Ephesians 6:10–18). “We must learn to see with spiritual eyes,” was the exhortation.

  6. Subduing the Flesh through a Set-Apart Lifestyle and Fasting: A call to consecration and self-denial resounded, emphasizing that power is released when the flesh is crucified (Galatians 5:24; Romans 12:1–2). “Fasting is not an event; it’s a lifestyle of surrender.”

  7. Assigning Purpose to Time: The urgency of the hour demands that every moment be lived with eternity in mind. “Time is short,” he said, quoting Ephesians 5:15-17. “The days are evil, and we must redeem the time for the Kingdom.”

Dr. John W. Mulinde

This is the beginning of a generational move of God in Greater Mukono and Uganda, “We must rebuild the foundations, disciple our regions, and live Spirit-led lives until the nations are turned to God.”

Go Nations Leadership Sets Strategic Training Agenda with Host Pastor in Greater Mukono

The meeting focused on concrete action points to ensure sustained momentum, leader engagement, and regional rollout of the Go Nations vision across Greater Mukono.

Key Action Points for Go Nations Training and Vision Casting

  1. Leadership Envisioning Meeting (First Week of June): A targeted meeting will be held with key leaders from across the region to introduce and envision them for the upcoming Go Nations training program. This session will lay the groundwork for deeper engagement and commitment.

  2. Training Program Development (June Schedule): A detailed training calendar will be developed and executed within the month of June, covering foundational teachings, practical ministry tools, and leadership equipping based on the Go Nations model.

  3. Venue Selection for Vision Casting to Overseers: Plans are underway to secure a suitable venue—preferably a hotel—to host a special vision casting event for regional overseers and senior church leaders. This gathering will clarify strategic direction and strengthen oversight support.

  4. Budget Planning: A comprehensive budget is being drafted to support both the trainings and vision casting sessions, ensuring that all logistical, material, and hospitality needs are adequately covered.

  5. Regional Division for Effective Coordination: Greater Mukono will be divided into strategic training centers to allow for manageable coordination and deeper grassroots impact. The five key regional centers identified include:

    • Lugazi

    • Katosi

    • Kayunga

    • Mukono Municipality

    • Nakifuma District

This structure will facilitate targeted mobilization, localized mentorship, and efficient follow-up as the Go Nations movement gains traction in Central Uganda.

Mission Scope

The mission encompassed the Greater Mukono region, including the following areas:

  • Mukono Municipality

  • Mukono District

  • Katosi

  • Kayunga

  • Buyikwe

  • Lugazi

  • Kiyoora

  • Kyampisi

  • Namataba

  • Nagoje

  • Kayanja

  • Namawojolo

  • Luwero

  • Kawempe

These areas were likely chosen for strategic, spiritual, and geographical reasons tied to the vision of the Go Nations Movement and the leadership's goal of igniting regional revival and transformation. Here's a breakdown of why these specific areas may have been included in the Greater Mukono Go Nations Mission:

Why These Areas Were Included

  1. Spiritual Significance & Influence Zones: Many of these locations—such as Mukono Municipality, Kayunga, and Lugazi—are spiritual or population hubs in the Central Uganda region, making them influential entry points for revival to spread.

  2. Geographical Coverage:These areas provide a wide territorial span across the Greater Mukono region and neighboring districts (like Luwero and Kawempe), allowing for broader regional impact and inclusion.

  3. Strategic Entry Points for Expansion: Places like Kawempe and Namawojolo serve as connectors between urban and rural communities. Reaching them helps bridge the movement into both city centers and outlying regions.

  4. Existing Church Networks & Partnerships: These areas likely have existing relationships or church networks aligned with the Go Nations vision—making it easier to mobilize local leaders and set up training centers.

  5. Preparation for Long-Term Training & Discipleship: The areas selected will be regional centers for trainings. Dividing Greater Mukono into sub-centers (e.g., Lugazi, Katosi, Kayunga, Municipality, Nakifuma) allows for manageable follow-up, coordination, and leadership development.

Textured Paper

Let us rejoice and shout for joy! Let us give Him glory and honor, for the marriage of the Lamb has come [at last]

and HIS BRIDE (the redeemed) HAS PREPARED HERSELF.”

She has been permitted to dress in fine linen, dazzling white and clean—for the fine linen signifies the righteous acts of the saints [the ethical conduct, personal integrity, moral courage, and godly character of believers].

Then the angel said to me,

“Write, ‘Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb.’”And he said to me [further],

“These are the true

and exact words of God.”

Revelation 19:7-9 (AMP)
