Mission Highlights:
DAY 1 – Thursday, May 22 (Session 1)
Dr. John W. Mulinde ministered on "Being a Witness of Christ," drawing insights from Jeremiah, Daniel, and the early apostles. In this powerful session, Dr. John W. Mulinde unfolded the true essence of being a witness of Christ, not merely as a preacher of words, but as a life fully surrendered to bear testimony to the truth, power, and presence of Jesus in every generation and context.
Jeremiah: The Burdened Prophet Jeremiah’s life was marked by divine calling, even before birth (Jeremiah 1:5).
He was chosen, set apart, and appointed as a prophet to the nations. Yet, being a witness cost him greatly — rejection, isolation, and deep anguish.
Key Insight:
To be a witness of Christ is to carry the burden of God's heart for a rebellious people, to speak truth even when it’s unpopular, and to stand firm when the culture rejects you.
Jeremiah teaches us that the call to witness is not glamorous — it is painful obedience driven by intimacy with God.
Daniel: A Witness in Babylon Daniel’s witness was seen not in preaching, but in his lifestyle, convictions, and wisdom in a hostile, pagan environment. He refused to defile himself (Daniel 1:8), prayed faithfully (Daniel 6:10), and stood firm in the face of political pressure and death threats.
Key Insight:
A true witness does not compromise truth for acceptance. Daniel teaches us that even in captivity, God raises witnesses to influence kings and nations when they remain faithful in private devotion.
His life proves that a witness is not only vocal, but visible — a life that speaks louder than words.
The Apostles: Witnesses in Power and Persecution
Acts 1:8 forms the core of the apostolic mandate:
“You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses... to the ends of the earth.”
The early apostles were firsthand witnesses of Jesus' life, death, resurrection, and ascension — but more importantly, they lived empowered by the Spirit to proclaim Him at any cost.
Peter, once a denier, became a bold preacher.
Stephen witnessed through his martyrdom.
Paul bore witness across empires with relentless zeal.
Key Insight:
The apostles show us that the Holy Spirit empowers weak men to become bold witnesses.
Being a witness means your life is evidence — that Christ is alive and His kingdom is at hand.
What Does It Mean Today?
Being a witness of Christ is not a religious title — it is a life of consecration, boldness, suffering, and unshakable devotion. It means saying “yes” to God's call, “no” to compromise, and “always” to the prompting of the Spirit.
Like Jeremiah, will you carry God's burden for your generation? Like Daniel, will you stand when others bow?Like the apostles, will you lay down your life for the sake of the Gospel?
This is the hour of witnesses. This is your time.
Key Takeaways:
Emphasize clarity in accommodation logistics for future missions
Prioritize personal prayer altars and regular life evaluations
Implement morning & evening glories and daily team evaluations
Session 2: How to Begin the Work of the Great Commission”
Taught by Dr. John W. Mulinde during the Mbale Mission – May 2025
Introduction
The Great Commission (Matthew 28:19–20) is not a suggestion; it is a divine mandate given by Christ to every believer:
“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations…”
In this transformative session, Dr. John W. Mulinde guided attendees through the first steps every believer, ministry, or movement must take to effectively and sustainably engage in the mission of discipling nations.
1. Begin with Personal Obedience and Consecration.
The Great Commission begins with surrender. Before God sends us out to the world, He works in us. Just like Jesus spent 30 years preparing for 3 years of ministry, so must we be prepared in:
Character
Holiness
Prayer
Intimacy with God
Key Insight:
“You cannot disciple nations if you yourself are not fully discipled by Christ.”
2. Understand the Scope of the Commission.
The Commission must be seen through three lenses:
Geographical: Take the Gospel from your local community to distant nations.
Demographic: Reach all people — children, youth, women, men, professionals, etc.
Denominational: Work across church structures and barriers, uniting around the core message of the Gospel.
Acts 1:8 provides the pattern:
“Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
3. Start by Forming Small, Committed Teams.
You don’t need a crowd to begin — you need a committed remnant. Jesus started with 12 disciples, not 1,000 followers.
Dr. Mulinde emphasized the importance of gathering like-minded believers who are trained, prayerful, and available to be sent.
Steps to begin:
Identify and disciple faithful people (2 Timothy 2:2)
Build prayer altars as the foundation
Hold regular times of equipping and accountability
Clarify spiritual roles: leaders, intercessors, evangelists, mobilizers, etc.
4. Engage the Territory Spiritually and Practically.
Before reaching a city or village, it must first be won in prayer.
“You don’t take a place physically until you take it spiritually.”— Dr. John W. Mulinde
Establish 24/7 prayer watch or coordinated intercession
Conduct spiritual mapping (understanding strongholds, cultures, church history)
Then begin outreach, evangelism, and discipleship
5. Multiply, Don’t Just Evangelize.
The goal is not converts, but disciples who become disciplers.
Start with:
House fellowships or discipleship hubs
Train people to reach their own networks (families, workplaces, schools)
Raise leaders at every level: local church, district, profession, etc.
The model is not just addition — it is multiplication.
6. Never Begin Without the Holy Spirit.
No mission can begin — or bear fruit — without the power and guidance of the Holy Spirit.
“Wait until you are clothed with power from on high” (Luke 24:49).
Dr. Mulinde emphasized:
Praying for a fresh infilling of the Holy Spirit
Listening to the Spirit’s strategy per region
Avoiding programs and leaning on presence-driven ministry
Start Where You Are
You don’t need a pulpit or a passport to begin the Great Commission — just obedience, vision, and prayer.
Whether in your:
Home
Workplace
School
Village
District…
The Great Commission starts with YOU.
DAY 2 – Friday, May 23
Executing the Great Commission with Strategy and Power
Session 3 with Dr. John W. Mulinde | Mbale Mission 2025
In this pivotal session, Dr. John W. Mulinde moved from vision to strategy, equipping the attendees with practical frameworks for fulfilling the Great Commission in their unique contexts. Grounded in Acts 1:8, he unveiled three distinct but interconnected approaches that must shape every mission effort:
1. Geographical Approach
This strategy calls believers to intentionally reach people by location — from the nearest neighborhoods to distant lands.
"Start from your Jerusalem and move outwards — district by district, region by region, until the nations are touched."
This means:
Mapping out unreached areas in your city or region
Forming outreach teams per locality
Planting and strengthening prayer altars in every village and town
2. Denominational Approach
Recognizing the diverse body of Christ, Dr. John W. Mulinde emphasized unity across denominational lines.
“We are one Church with one message and one mission. The Kingdom of God is bigger than any single denomination.”
This approach involves:
Collaborating with pastors and leaders from different church backgrounds
Hosting inter-denominational gatherings and missions
Sharing resources and training materials to unify discipleship efforts
3. Demographic Approach
Every group — based on age, gender, profession, or life stage — requires unique outreach methods.
Dr. John W. Mulinde encouraged the formation of focused ministries to engage:
Children and Youth – through schools, camps, media
Women – with empowerment, mentorship, and healing spaces
Men and Families – addressing leadership and identity
Marketplace Professionals – activating kingdom influence in business, government, education, etc.
Formation of District Teams
As a result of this teaching, attendees were divided into their respective districts, where each group appointed five strategic leaders representing:
Church Leadership – to coordinate and shepherd
Women’s Ministry – to mobilize and disciple women
Youth Ministry – to lead the next generation
Marketplace Ministry – to impact business, education, and society
Intercessors – to establish spiritual covering and direction
These district teams now serve as the pillars of Go Nations Masabaland, empowered to take practical steps in their regions.
Sealing the Mandate: Anointing and Dedication Service
The mission climaxed with a powerful dedication and anointing service where Dr. Mulinde, along with the Go Nations team, prayed over every participant.

Hands were laid
Tears fell
Callings were confirmed
The fire of the Great Commission was imparted
This was not just a symbolic act — it was a spiritual activation into the global move of God.
🕊️ "You will be My witnesses... to the ends of the earth." – Acts 1:8
Let’s Keep the Fire Burning
This is not the end — it is the beginning. Let every district, every leader, and every believer continue with passion, prayer, and purpose.
The harvest is ready. The time is now. The fire is burning.

But Why Eastern Uganda?
Historically significant in national revival movements
Rich spiritual hunger and readiness across districts
Existing regional structures and faithful remnant churches
Strategic border districts for regional and cross-border evangelism (e.g., Busia, Tororo)
The vision is to see every district in Eastern Uganda saturated with the presence of God and aligned to the purposes of Christ, with trained leaders mobilizing every sphere — Church, Youth, Women, Marketplace, and Intercession — toward fulfilling the Great Commission.
Declaration
“The fire of revival will burn from Masabaland and Eastern Uganda to the ends of the earth!”
