Thursday, 10th July 2025
Welcome to a Sacred Invitation
You've now reached 100 chapters of Scripture! That’s a spiritual achievement worth celebrating. As you begin the book of Leviticus, remember: this is not just about rituals—it’s about relationship. God is teaching His people how to live near Him without being consumed. It's not dry religion—it’s divine proximity.
Leviticus may feel unfamiliar, but it carries deep meaning for how we worship, live holy, and approach God with reverence.
Reading Instructions
Read Leviticus chapters 1 to 10 prayerfully. Take note of the types of offerings, the role of priests, and the demand for holiness. Every instruction reveals God’s heart for a pure and set-apart people.

Guided Devotional
1. Who is God?
In Leviticus 1–10, God reveals Himself as:
The Holy One – His holiness is central, and approaching Him requires purification and reverence.
The God of Order – He establishes clear protocols for worship, sacrifice, and priesthood (Lev. 1–7).
The God Who Makes Atonement – Every offering points toward reconciliation through blood (Leviticus 4:20, 7:7).
The Consuming Fire – His glory appears, and fire consumes the sacrifice (Leviticus 9:23–24).
The God Who Disciplines – When Nadab and Abihu offer “strange fire,” they are judged immediately (Leviticus 10:1–3).
2. What Are the Ways of God?
God establishes access through sacrifice – Worship always involves surrender.
God desires a priesthood that honors Him – Those who serve must reflect His holiness.
God is not casual with His presence – Offerings, garments, and order matter in His house.
God reveals His glory in obedience – When worship is done His way, His presence comes in power.
God holds leaders accountable – He requires more from those who represent Him publicly.
3. What Is His Character?
Holy – He is set apart and requires His people to be as well.
Just – He deals with sin seriously because sin separates us from Him.
Merciful – He provides a way for atonement, always pointing forward to Christ.
Present – He wants to dwell among His people but on His terms.
Glorious – When honored rightly, His presence manifests powerfully.
Golden Nugget
You cannot draw near to God without transformation. His presence purifies, consumes, and empowers—but never leaves you the same.
Prayer
Holy God, Thank You for making a way for me to draw near through the blood of Jesus. Teach me to live with reverence and joy in Your presence. Purify my heart, and help me to honor You with every area of my life. May my worship rise to You as a pleasing aroma. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
