Today's Reading: Revelation 5–15
As the seals of the scroll begin to open, Heaven reveals the majestic supremacy of the Lamb who alone is worthy. The scene transitions from worship to judgment — from songs of adoration to the unfolding of God’s plan of redemption and justice. Every trumpet, every bowl, every seal echoes one message: God is sovereign over history, and His purposes will stand.
In the midst of cosmic turmoil, Heaven does not lose its song. The saints, the angels, and the elders cry out, “Worthy is the Lamb who was slain!” (Revelation 5:12). As you read, notice how the focus remains not on the chaos of earth, but on the throne — where the Lamb reigns unshaken.
Who is God?
He is the Sovereign Judge and Redeemer — ruling over creation, history, and eternity with perfect justice and mercy.
What are the ways of God?
God’s ways are redemptive. Even His judgments are born of love — to bring repentance, purify His people, and restore righteousness on earth.
What are His characters?
He is holy, just, faithful, merciful, and worthy of eternal worship. His power is absolute, and His plans are unstoppable.
Golden Nugget:
In the midst of world events and shaking, keep your eyes on the Lamb — for He holds the scroll of destiny in His hands.
Prayer:
Lord Jesus, thank You for being the worthy Lamb who redeems and restores all things. Teach me to worship through the storms and to see history through Your victorious throne. Amen.
