Day 105 - Transformed by the Power of the Gospel

Date: Monday, 13th Oct 2025

Reading: Acts 28; Romans 1–8

As we enter the Book of Romans after finishing Acts, we witness the Apostle Paul shift from missionary journeys to laying down one of the most profound theological foundations in Scripture — the Gospel of Jesus Christ. In Acts 28, Paul reaches Rome, not as a free missionary, but as a prisoner carrying the message that transforms nations. His arrival marks the expansion of the Kingdom to the heart of the empire, showing that no chain can stop God’s Word.

In Romans 1–8, Paul unveils the Gospel as the power of God unto salvation. Humanity’s sin, God’s righteousness, and the transforming grace made available through faith in Christ are central themes. We see the contrast between living in the flesh and living in the Spirit. Romans 8 crowns this journey — declaring that there is now no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus and that nothing can separate us from His love.

Let this day remind you that the Gospel is not just good news to preach but power to live by. It is the truth that liberates the sinner, strengthens the saint, and transforms nations when believed and lived out.

Who is God?

God is the eternal, holy, and righteous Creator of all things. He is the Source of life, the Giver of grace, and the Father who reveals Himself through Jesus Christ. He is the God of truth, justice, mercy, and love — unchanging and everlasting in His purposes.

What are the ways of God?

The ways of God are higher than our ways (Isaiah 55:8–9). They are ways of righteousness, love, discipline, and redemption. He works through divine order and timing, often turning what seems like captivity into His plan for glory. His ways always lead to transformation, obedience, and the revelation of His kingdom on earth.

What are His characters?

God’s character is perfect and holy. He is loving (1 John 4:8), faithful (Deut. 7:9), merciful (Ps. 103:8), just (Ps. 89:14), patient (2 Pet. 3:9), and full of truth (John 14:6). His character defines the foundation of our faith — we can trust Him because He never changes.

Golden Nugget:

The Gospel doesn’t just save us from sin; it transforms us into sons who walk in the Spirit and manifest God’s righteousness in the world.

Textured Paper

Let us rejoice and shout for joy! Let us give Him glory and honor, for the marriage of the Lamb has come [at last]

and HIS BRIDE (the redeemed) HAS PREPARED HERSELF.”

She has been permitted to dress in fine linen, dazzling white and clean—for the fine linen signifies the righteous acts of the saints [the ethical conduct, personal integrity, moral courage, and godly character of believers].

Then the angel said to me,

“Write, ‘Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb.’”And he said to me [further],

“These are the true

and exact words of God.”
