Introduction
Congratulations on reaching Day 108 of your Bible reading journey! You have come far in walking through the story of God’s redemption, and today, we enter one of Paul’s most personal letters — 2 Corinthians.
In these chapters, Paul opens his heart to the believers, sharing his struggles, afflictions, and the deep comfort he has received from God. This letter reveals the beauty of ministry that is not built on strength or perfection, but on grace, humility, and total dependence on God.
Paul defends his apostleship not with power or eloquence, but by pointing to his sufferings and God’s sustaining grace. He reminds us that true ministry flows from weakness that has been surrendered to the strength of God. Through every hardship, the treasure of Christ shines brighter through the broken vessel.
These chapters are a call to authenticity — to live and serve transparently before God, finding confidence not in ourselves, but in the sufficiency of His Spirit.
Who is God?
God is the Father of mercies and the God of all comfort. He strengthens His people in every affliction and uses their pain to comfort others. He is faithful, present, and powerful in our weakness, showing that His grace is enough for every trial.
What are the ways of God?
God’s ways often lead us through suffering to reveal His glory. He uses affliction to refine us, brokenness to display His strength, and humility to manifest His presence. His way is the path of grace — where dependence on Him becomes our greatest power.
What are His characters?
God is compassionate, merciful, patient, and gracious. He is near to the brokenhearted and faithful to sustain His servants. His character is constant — comforting, strengthening, and transforming His children through His Spirit.
Golden Nugget
“The true power of ministry is not in human strength, but in divine grace. Our weakness becomes the stage for God’s glory.”
Prayer
Father, thank You for being my strength in weakness and my comfort in every trial. Help me to rely fully on Your grace and not my ability. Use my pain, my story, and my testimony to bring encouragement to others. Let Your power be made perfect in me today. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
