Today’s Reading: Leviticus 11–20 (NKJV)
Friday, 11th July 2025
You’re Going Deeper!
By reaching Day 11, you’ve now walked through over 110 chapters of the Bible. That’s not just reading—it’s spiritual pursuit. As we continue through Leviticus, the focus shifts from tabernacle worship to personal holiness. God is showing us that holiness is not just what happens in the sanctuary—it’s about how we live every day.
This is where worship meets real life.
Reading Instructions
Read Leviticus 11 to 20 with an open and humble heart. These chapters reveal how God wants His people to be set apart in areas like food, relationships, health, sexuality, justice, and leadership. Don’t view these as outdated rules—see them as a window into God’s values and how He calls us to reflect His holiness.

Guided Devotional
1. Who is God?
In Leviticus 11–20, God reveals Himself as:
The One Who Sets Apart – He declares what is clean and unclean, holy and unholy.
The God Who Cares About the Whole Life – From eating to relating, nothing is too small for His instruction.
The Defender of Justice – He gives laws to protect the poor, the weak, and the vulnerable (Leviticus 19:9–18).
The God of Boundaries – He sets clear limits on sexuality, worship, and leadership.
The God Who Dwells Among a Holy People – He says, “Be holy, for I the Lord your God am holy” (Leviticus 19:2).
2. What Are the Ways of God?
God calls His people to live differently from the world – His laws distinguish His people.
God’s commands are for our good – Holiness protects and preserves.
God values purity in all things – Our bodies, relationships, homes, and worship must reflect His nature.
God links worship with justice – True holiness involves loving your neighbor (Leviticus 19:18).
God warns and disciplines – Idolatry, sexual immorality, and injustice are met with strong correction.
3. What Is His Character?
Holy – He is completely pure and separate from sin.
Compassionate – Many of these laws reflect deep care for people’s well-being.
Wise – His ways build a healthy, just, and thriving community.
Consistent – His standards don’t change with culture or seasons.
Near – His desire to dwell with us is why He calls us to holiness.
Golden Nugget
Holiness is not about perfection—it’s about loyalty. To be holy is to belong completely to God in every area of life.
Prayer
Father of Holiness, Thank You for calling me to be set apart. I open my life—every detail—for Your inspection and transformation. Teach me to love what You love, hate what You hate, and live in a way that reflects Your heart. I want to be holy, not by my strength, but by Your Spirit. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Activation Challenge
What part of your everyday life (relationships, choices, habits) needs to reflect God’s holiness more clearly?
Are there “cultural norms” you’ve accepted that contradict God’s standard?
How can you practice loving others as part of your holiness?
