Date: Sunday, 19th October 2025
Introduction
Congratulations on reaching Day 111 of your Bible reading journey! Your dedication is bearing fruit, and today’s reading encourages you to live in the joy, peace, and supremacy of Christ.
In Philippians 1–4, Paul expresses his gratitude for the believers and emphasizes the joy that comes from knowing Christ. Even in chains, he rejoices, showing that true joy is not dependent on circumstances but on the presence of Jesus. Paul encourages believers to stand firm in unity, humility, and faith, and to rejoice always in the Lord.
In Colossians 1–4, Paul reveals the supremacy of Christ over all creation and the church. Christ is preeminent in life, in ministry, and in salvation. Believers are called to live holy lives, walking worthy of the Lord, rooted and built up in Him. Every action — whether in speech, work, or prayer — should reflect Christ’s authority and love.
This day’s reading challenges us to cultivate joy, peace, and a Christ-centered life regardless of circumstances.
Who is God?
God is the source of joy, peace, and strength. He is supreme over all creation, faithful in His promises, and present in every situation. Through Christ, He reveals His glory, authority, and unfailing love.
What are the ways of God?
God’s ways are centered on Christ’s supremacy and the growth of His kingdom in the hearts of believers. He calls us to live in unity, to rejoice in Him, and to demonstrate His wisdom and love in all our actions. He transforms lives through the Gospel and strengthens His people to live victoriously.
What are His characters?
God is faithful, loving, just, and sovereign. He is joyful in His dealings with His children, compassionate toward the humble, and powerful to establish His plans in our lives. He desires that we walk worthy of His calling and reflect His glory to the world.
Golden Nugget
“Christ’s supremacy brings joy, peace, and purpose — a life lived fully in Him is a life fully victorious.”
