Introduction
Congratulations on reaching Day 112 of your Bible reading journey! Your commitment is commendable, and today’s reading encourages believers to live faithfully, pursue holiness, and remain steadfast in hope as we anticipate the return of Christ.
In 1 Thessalonians 4–5, Paul calls the church to live in holiness and love, honoring God in every area of life. He emphasizes the hope of Christ’s return, urging believers to encourage one another and remain vigilant.
These chapters inspire a life of obedience and anticipation.
In 2 Thessalonians 1–3, Paul reminds the believers that God is just and will repay affliction, strengthen the faithful, and discipline the idle. He teaches perseverance and steadfastness, calling believers to continue in good works and avoid idleness.
In 1 Timothy 1–5, Paul provides guidance for leadership, teaching, and living a life pleasing to God. These chapters focus on sound doctrine, godly living, and the responsibilities of both leaders and believers in building a faithful community.
Today’s reading emphasizes that a life lived in holiness, hope, and faithful service glorifies God and strengthens the Church.
Who is God?
God is holy, just, and faithful. He rewards obedience, strengthens the weary, disciplines the unruly, and calls His children to a life of righteousness. He is also compassionate and loving toward those who trust in Him.
What are the ways of God?
God’s ways include calling His people to holiness, instructing them in truth, and guiding them to live in obedience. He strengthens the faithful, brings correction to the unruly, and prepares His children to live in hope and anticipation of Christ’s return.
What are His characters?
God is righteous, patient, just, loving, and faithful. He is a God of discipline and guidance, encouraging perseverance, holiness, and steadfastness among His people. He is also merciful, strengthening those who walk in faith and truth.

Prayer
Father, thank You for calling me to live a holy and faithful life. Strengthen me to walk in obedience, persevere through trials, and remain steadfast in hope. Help me to encourage others, live responsibly, and honor You in every area of my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
