1. Who is God?
The Sovereign Ruler – He directs the steps of man even when plans are made (Proverbs 16:9).
The Just Judge – Honest scales and justice belong to Him (Proverbs 16:11).
The Defender of the Humble – He honors humility and resists the proud (Proverbs 18:12).
The Giver of Wisdom – His wisdom refreshes and preserves life (Proverbs 24:5).
2. What Are the Ways of God?
God honors humility above pride.
God blesses righteous speech and condemns lies.
God calls His people to wise planning but reminds them that He is the final authority.
God delights in those who pursue righteousness, justice, and peace.
3. What Is His Character?
Faithful – He establishes the plans of the righteous.
Wise – His ways are higher and beyond human wisdom.
Holy – He abhors evil, dishonesty, and injustice.
Protective – He preserves those who walk in His wisdom.
Golden Nugget
To walk in the fear of the Lord is to live under His wisdom and authority, and in that path there is life, honor, and safety.
Prayer
Lord, I submit my plans, words, and ways to You. Teach me to walk humbly, to speak truthfully, and to live wisely. Deliver me from pride, dishonesty, and foolishness. Let my life reflect Your justice and Your wisdom, bringing glory to Your name. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Activation Challenge
Review your personal goals and plans this week—ask God to align them with His wisdom.
Speak intentionally today—use your words to build up, not tear down.
Practice humility: serve someone quietly without expecting recognition.
