Today’s Reading: Exodus 21–30 (NKJV)
Tuesday, 8th July 2025
To the Faithful Ones—Well Done!
If you’ve walked with us from Day 1, you’ve now completed 70 chapters of Scripture. That’s no small thing. You are not just reading a book—you’re walking with God through generations, wildernesses, and miracles. And your faithfulness is building something eternal.
Today’s reading may seem detailed—but these are God’s blueprints for holy living and hosting His presence. Don’t skim. Press in. God is forming something in you.
Reading Instructions
Read Exodus 21 to 30 with reverence and openness. These chapters might feel like instructions, but they reveal God’s desire to dwell among His people. As you read, ask: “What does this show me about God’s heart, holiness, and priorities?”

Guided Devotional
1. Who is God?
In Exodus 21–30, God reveals Himself as:
The Lawgiver of Justice and Compassion – He outlines how His people should treat one another with fairness, respect, and mercy (Exodus 21–23).
The Promise Keeper – He confirms His covenant and promises to drive out their enemies (Exodus 23:20–31).
The Holy One – His presence is not casual; it is sacred and precise (Exodus 25:8–9).
The Master Designer – He gives exact blueprints for the tabernacle, ark, lampstand, garments, and altar (Exodus 25–30).
The God Who Desires to Dwell with His People – His end goal is always relationship and presence (Exodus 29:45–46).
2. What Are the Ways of God?
God values structure and order – Holiness is not vague. It has form, boundaries, and beauty.
God calls His people higher – These laws were not burdens—they were invitations to reflect God's heart to the nations.
God is specific with His presence – He instructs on where and how He will dwell so His presence won’t consume but purify.
God equips artists and craftsmen – His Spirit empowers people not only to preach, but to design and build for His glory (Exodus 31:1–6).
God initiates covenant through sacrifice – The blood of the covenant pointed ahead to the ultimate sacrifice of Christ.
3. What Is His Character?
Holy – Every instruction reveals that God is unlike any other. His presence must be approached with awe.
Detailed – He doesn’t rush things. His design reveals care, precision, and excellence.
Relational – He doesn't want religion. He wants to dwell with His people.
Just – He establishes laws to protect the vulnerable and ensure righteousness in the community.
Faithful – He continues unfolding the promise He made to Abraham, now forming a holy nation.
Golden Nugget
God is not just saving you from something—He’s shaping you into someone who can carry His presence with reverence, creativity, and purpose.
Prayer
Father of Glory, Thank You for inviting me into deeper holiness. Thank You that You care not only about my heart, but about how I live, serve, create, and host Your presence. Teach me to build a life, a home, and a ministry where You feel welcome. Shape me into a person of order, honor, and obedience. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
