Ezekiel 24–32 presents sobering visions of judgment, the fall of nations, and God’s call for trust amidst chaos. Through symbolic acts and prophecies, God communicates His sovereignty over nations and His care for His people. These chapters remind us that even in destruction, God is in control and His plans cannot be thwarted.

1. Who is God?
The Sovereign Lord – He rules over nations, history, and human hearts (Ezekiel 26:7–14).
The Just Judge – He executes judgment on sin and rebellion fairly (Ezekiel 28:23–26).
The Protector of the Faithful – Even in exile and calamity, He upholds those who remain loyal (Ezekiel 24:14).
2. What Are the Ways of God?
God pronounces justice against nations and individuals who oppose His will.
God uses prophetic signs and messages to reveal His plans.
God calls His people to trust Him, even amid suffering and destruction.
God’s sovereignty ensures that His purposes will ultimately prevail.
3. What Is His Character?
Holy – He cannot ignore sin or rebellion.
Faithful – His promises to protect and restore His people remain true.
Powerful – He rules over all nations and history.
Merciful – Even in judgment, He provides opportunities for repentance.
Golden Nugget
Even when nations fall and chaos surrounds us, God’s sovereignty and faithfulness remain unshaken. Trust Him, for His plans are higher than our understanding.
Prayer
Lord, help me to trust You in every circumstance, especially when I face uncertainty or hardship. Strengthen my faith, guide my steps, and remind me that Your sovereignty covers all things. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Activation Challenge
Identify one area of your life where you feel uncertainty or fear and surrender it to God.
Meditate on Ezekiel 24:14 and declare God’s protection over your life.
Encourage someone facing difficulty by reminding them of God’s sovereignty and faithfulness.
