Go Nations Eastern Uganda Mission Update - 28.08.2025

Mbale and Bulambuli Districts, Eastern Uganda – We rejoice in the mighty works of God as the Go Nations Missionary Team of 8 successfully entered Eastern Uganda, setting up their strategic base in Mbale and Bulambuli districts.

Strengthening the Work Through Unity

In Mbale, the team was warmly joined by 25 additional missionaries from the region. Together, they shared in envisioning sessions, laying out how the Go Nations vision will spread across Eastern Uganda. This unity of purpose greatly empowered and strengthened the mission, enlarging its impact and reach.

Door-to-Door Evangelism & Crusades

The team carried out door-to-door evangelism across communities, and by God’s grace, 44 souls surrendered their lives to Christ. In the evenings, daily crusades were held, bringing the message of salvation, hope, and transformation to multitudes.

Confronting Strongholds in Bulambuli

Bulambuli District revealed deep-rooted spiritual challenges that need the power of the gospel:

• Drunkenness has gripped many families and youth.

• Altars of bloodshed are widespread, with almost every clan maintaining spiritual strongholds through sacrifice.

• The spirit of poverty looms heavily, keeping many in cycles of lack and dependency.

Yet, in the midst of these challenges, the gospel is bringing light, freedom, and restoration.

God’s Provision Through His People

We thank God for the hospitality of the people of Eastern Uganda who welcomed the missionaries and freely offered accommodation in Bulambuli. This open-heartedness is a sign that the land is ready for the move of God.

Call to Prayer and Support

The harvest in Eastern Uganda is ripe, but the laborers must be sustained. We invite the Body of Christ to:

• Pray for the breaking of strongholds in Mbale, Bulambuli, and surrounding districts.

• Stand with the missionaries in encouragement and partnership.

• Support financially to provide for accommodation, meals, transportation, and outreach as the mission expands.

Together, we will see souls saved, altars broken, and revival fire spread across Eastern Uganda!
