The Go Nations Movement, led by Dr. John W. Mulinde, held a powerful two-day mission in Jinja (Busoga Subregion) from May 16–17, 2025 at Elim Pentecostal Church, Walukuba. The mission aimed to envision the Church in Busoga with God's redemptive purpose for the region and to raise spiritual reformers who will disciple every sphere of society.
Over nine out of eleven districts were represented, with 23 missioners from Go Nations Kampala in attendance.
The sessions featured strategic teachings, intense prayer, and prophetic direction. Dr. John W. Mulinde unpacked Isaiah 62, highlighting the call to intercession and the need to break personal, territorial, and social darkness.
Discussion groups were formed for each district to spark local transformation, and over 100 local leaders were identified to lead ongoing efforts. The mission concluded with a strong call to establish prayer altars, follow-up programs, and a unified subregional team.
This was not just an event—it was a divine ignition for revival in Busoga.

Pr. Joyce Nantongo

Pr. Joyce Nantongo delivered a profound message unveiling the divine blueprint of God’s redemptive mission—calling the Church to return to the foundations of covenant, righteousness, and obedience. She emphasized that the transformation of a nation begins with re-establishing spiritual foundations rooted in truth, prayer, and holiness, through which God can raise vessels equipped to rescue and rebuild the destiny of their land.

“Busoga Is Not Forgotten!” – Pr. Joseph Kamara.
During the Jinja Mission, Pr. Joseph Kamara passionately reminded us that Busoga is on Heaven’s agenda! He declared that every land has a divine destiny—and Busoga’s inheritance must be reclaimed.
He stirred the hearts of believers to rise as watchmen and intercessors, standing in the gap for their land. Through prayer, repentance, and prophetic action, we are called to break spiritual apathy and territorial darkness and align our region with God’s redemptive purpose. Day 2: Saturday, 17th May 2025
"Unpacking Isaiah 62: A Call to Intercession and Breaking the Darkness" – Dr. John W. Mulinde

Dr. John W. Mulinde delivered a profound revelation from Isaiah 62, commissioning the Church to rise in intercession for true revival and national transformation. He declared that before revival can manifest outwardly, the darkness within and around us must be broken.
God is calling His watchmen to take their place on the walls—not just to observe, but to contend in prayer until His purposes are fulfilled in our cities and nations (Isaiah 62:6-7).
Dr. John W. Mulinde outlined three dimensions of darkness that hinder revival, and must be intentionally confronted:
Personal Darkness – "Cleanse Me, O Lord"
This is the inner bondage, sin, brokenness, and spiritual blindness that dulls sensitivity to God’s voice. It includes hidden sins, apathy, and unresolved wounds that disconnect individuals from intimacy with God.
"Before we cry out for our nations, we must allow God to deal with the darkness within us."
Personal revival precedes national revival. God is purifying His people like silver in the fire so they can carry the weight of His glory. Intercession begins on your knees, asking God to awaken your spirit, heal your heart, and remove every veil.
Territorial Darkness – "Displace the Thrones of Wickedness"
This level represents the spiritual oppression over regions, strongholds rooted in ancestral covenants, idolatry, bloodshed, and unjust systems. These powers war against the advancement of God’s Kingdom in a geographic location.
"We are not wrestling against flesh and blood—but spiritual powers entrenched in territories (Ephesians 6:12)."
Prayer warriors must be equipped with understanding of their territory’s spiritual history. Through strategic intercession, repentance on behalf of the land, and prophetic declarations, the Church is called to displace evil altars and enthrone Christ over regions.
Social Darkness – "Reform the Culture"
This involves the systems and structures of society—education, media, government, economy, and family—where unrighteousness and corruption have become normalized. Social darkness perpetuates injustice, moral decay, and spiritual complacency.
"Revival that doesn’t touch society is incomplete. We must disciple nations by reforming culture through truth and righteousness."

Believers must go beyond the four walls of the Church and become salt and light in every sphere of influence.
In this critical hour, the Church must awaken to her full mandate—not just to save souls, but to disciple nations (Matthew 28:19). This means believers can no longer be content with spiritual activity confined to the four walls of the Church. The call is urgent: to arise as salt and light in every sphere of society, carrying the transforming power of the Kingdom into the heart of culture. Salt That Preserves – Light That Exposes
Jesus declared in Matthew 5:13–14:
“You are the salt of the earth… You are the light of the world.”

Reformers, Not Just Churchgoers
The world is groaning under the weight of corrupt systems, unjust structures, and moral collapse. But the answer will not come from secular ideologies or politics alone—it must come from a Spirit-empowered Church that understands her redemptive assignment. God is raising Kingdom reformers—men and women trained in the Word, filled with the Spirit, and strategically positioned to influence:
Policy & Governance – like Daniel, who served with excellence and integrity in Babylon, shaping national policy while staying loyal to God.
Business & Economy – like Joseph, who stewarded resources to preserve nations and glorified God even in political systems.
Education – like Ezra, who taught the law of God to a generation in need of direction and reformation.
Media & Arts – like David, who used music and creativity to shift atmospheres and establish prophetic truth.
Family & Community – like Deborah, who nurtured the nation as a mother in Israel, calling the people back to covenant faithfulness.
A Call to Watchmen
Isaiah 62 is not just a promise—it’s a call to action. Dr. John reminded us that revival must be prayed into being. Watchmen must take their positions with perseverance, pressing in until God establishes His purposes over Busoga—and beyond.
“Give Him no rest until He establishes Jerusalem and makes her the praise of the earth.” – Isaiah 62:7
Let the fire of intercession burn. Let every level of darkness be broken. Let revival flow!
