THE AUTHORITY THAT COMES FROM GOD

Oct 5
2 min read

Scripture

“You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet.” — Psalm 8:6

Message

God entrusted humanity with authority, but that authority did not originate with man. It came from God.

This distinction is essential for Kingdom living. Whenever God gives us responsibility, influence, resources, opportunities, or leadership, we must remember that we are stewards of what belongs to Him.

Authority therefore should never produce pride or independence. Instead, it should produce humility and accountability.

A person who understands where their authority comes from will continually look back to the One who gave it. They will ask, “Lord, how do You want me to use what You have entrusted to me?”

This applies to every area of life. Your influence is an opportunity to serve. Your resources are an opportunity to bless. Your gifts are an opportunity to build. Your position is an opportunity to advance God's purposes.

The question is not simply whether God has entrusted something to you. The question is whether you are using it according to His will.

Never forget the Source.

Whatever God has placed in your hands, place it back under His authority.

Golden Nugget

Kingdom authority is not permission to do whatever we want; it is a responsibility to faithfully represent the One who gave it.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, thank You for every responsibility, gift, opportunity, and influence You have entrusted to me. Help me never to forget that You are the source of everything I have. Keep me humble and teach me to exercise every form of authority according to Your will. May I never use what You have given me for selfish ambition, but for Your glory and the good of others. Make me a faithful steward of everything You place in my hands.

In Jesus' mighty name, Amen.

Hello Saints i bless you in the mighty name of our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ, i want to thank you for encouraging us, exhorting us, building our faith, and strengthening us on our journey and walk with the Lord through these devotions which we get everyday. "Now unto Him who is able to keep you from falling and present you blameless {faultless} before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, To the only wise God, our Savior, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen." Please never leave Jesus Christ.

She has been permitted to dress in fine linen, dazzling white and clean—for the fine linen signifies the righteous acts of the saints [the ethical conduct, personal integrity, moral courage, and godly character of believers].

Then the angel said to me,

“Write, ‘Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb.’”And he said to me [further],

“These are the true
